Dear Anxiety Sufferer,
The first and most important thing that you have to understand is that all anxiety is completely treatable. That's a big claim, I know, but there are a number of programs available on the internet now that work very well and at our clinic in London we have had excellent results. There is absolutely no reason to continue suffering.
Anxiety is not a mental illness or a disability, it is a state of mind that can be permanently eliminated with some simple but consistent changes in your daily life.
Most long term anxiety sufferers I meet know everything there is to know about their condition. What I would like to say to you is that the cause of your anxiety is not part of the treatment. It helps that you understand how it happened because it is always good to have reasons. However, it is important to realise that the past is not the future, that you are not ill, just a victim of circumstances.
Have you ever experienced that uplifting feeling that you get when someone gives you a genuine complement? If every morning that you woke up you were surrounded by people telling you how fantastic you are, don't you think you would start to believe it eventially?
There is a real power in words which is why tapes and CDs can be so effective. Not just for the ideas they contain, but for the persuasive influence they have when you listen to them, over and over again.

I am here to tell you about a program that has taken five years to come together, which has some spectacular results with sufferers like yourself with many forms of anxiety.
To totally eliminate anxiety you need to attack it on many levels and sustain that attack over several months.
Treating anxiety over the years has made it obvious that there are some rules that always seem to apply.
- It takes at least three weeks of applying a new behaviour to establish a new habit. After that, you don't have to think about it and it just becomes automatic.
- You don't just stop the obvious symptoms like panic attacks and poor sleep, you need to peel away the longer term worries and anxieties. Better yet, you need to build up hope, confidence and expectation for your future success.
- You need to stop thinking about the past and start concentrating on the future.
- It's all about living for your dreams and not slowly dying in the past. Not held back and crippled by ways of thinking that are left over from your past misfortunes.
It is a lot easier than you think. The human mind is stronger and more versatile than you might ever have imagined.
Discover How Easy It Is To Build Confidence, Especially In Social Situations. The Real Way To Become More Confident.
Have you ever had someone say that you should "feel more confident" as if it was a command to be obeyed and wondered what they meant exactly?
I've read this and I have heard therapists say this and you have to worry that any professional thinks that is OK. If it was as easy as saying to someone 'you are feeling more confident' then we'd all do it.
Of course, you can build confidence by manipulating your own thoughts and memories. It is a very personal thing. When you listen to the session on the CD, you will understand how obvious it really is. Some people do this automatically almost from the day they were born. Again, this is something you can learn easily and keep doing every day even when you are simply walking down the street.
How Disorganised Are Your Thoughts?
I'd like you to spend a moment and think about times that you have visited peoples' homes. How tidy were they? Did they organise their lives and have everything sorted carefully into the right place? Or were their homes cluttered and disorganised. Probably a habit learned while they were growing up; some people just learned to be tidy while others never did.
I'd like to suggest that it is the same with our thoughts. The more organised and planned they are then the easier it is to understand what is going on and to get things done.
There is a strong link between anxiety and disorganised thinking. There is nothing wrong with this way of thinking and it is perhaps the source of a great deal of creativity, but if you are in the grips of a severe anxiety this is not much comfort. Fortunately it is never too late to learn how to change this and we have included some valuable techniques to help create new more useful ways of thinking and noticing what is going on around you.
Some people overcompensate for this disorganised way of thinking and in an attempt to order the world around them they can become quite obsessive. Again this is easy to overcome and we have included simple techniques to make this happen.
Rid yourself of those dreadful feelings of fear - Don't be afraid any more
How would you stop a child being afraid of the dark?
I don't think any of us would suggest locking them in a darkened room. Probably, you would gradually turn the lights down over a few days or weeks and then leave the door open with the light on outside and gradually allow the door to become more closed.
This is probably the best way to deal with most fears and phobias. Complete immersion or flooding (all terms for throwing yourself in at the deep end and facing up directly to your fears) are not recommended. Certainly not at first, though there will be moments when you will have to take a stride in this direction.
A high proportion of people who do bungie jumps and parachute jumps for the first time are facing up to a fear of heights, though I doubt whether many of them would say afterwards that 'cured' them.
As adults we work things through more logically than that child in the dark room. Fear is much more emotional and emotions need to be handled with care.
You may have heard about the amygdala region of the brain and how it controls whether we stand and fight or run away in the event of a dangerous situation.
The idea with anxiety is that this area of the brain is 'badly tuned' and misfires too early, releasing hormones like adrenaline into the blood to give you energy to fight or run with no good reason. What you experience are all the symptoms of an anxiety/panic attack with no obvious reason as to why.
Permanently stop all panic attacks in just a few short weeks. stop living in fear of another panic attack or deep depression
Panic attacks are a truly terrible experience and I am sure that I don't need me to tell you the symptoms here. I had my share during a particularly low point in my life.
For some people panic attacks come and go, for others they just keep coming one after the other. For others the feeling seems to last for hours, even days. What is happening inside your body is well understood, whether it is hormones being released like adrenaline for the quick rush or cortisone for the long drawn out experience.
The good news is that you can retrain this part of your mind. The trick is deal with the body symptoms and what is going on in your mind at the same time. This response can be gradually 'reset' so that it works correctly
6 Techniques That When Combined Will Put An End To Any Panic Attack
While you are dealing directly with the panic attacks you will also be reducing your overall anxiety levels with the hypnotic sessions. We use six techniques that deal with breathing, focusing your thoughts and distracting yourself. These are combined with longer term anti-anxiety techniques so that your panic attacks will stop.
Just follow the program. It really is very straightforward; just a few minutes reading each day and listening to a few CDs every week.
Don't Let Sleep Deprivation Make Your Anxiety Worse
You know the difference that a good nights sleep can make.
During Dream (REM) Sleep as well as Deep Sleep your mind appears to do some important emotional processing. One research project showed that if someone is woken at different intervals during the night and asked about their dreams, the dreams became calmer and more comfortable as the night progressed. You are far more likely to have a nightmare earlier in the night than later.
Your mind seems to be resolving problems and emotional issues during the course of Dream Sleep, so it is something you do not want to be missing.
We have included a long and short term solution to sleep problems in this program. We give you techniques to overcome long term worrying and circular emotional thinking as well as dealing with the immediate insomnia symptoms, especially problems getting to sleep first thing at night.
Stop The Constant Worrying. Learn a proven method to deal with all of your problems effectively and at the right time.
There has been some powerful research into how people resolve problems. Some people have a way of thinking that makes problem solving easy for them and they do not experience worry in the same way as many other people.
This research concluded at Harvard University with the development of a system of problem solving created over twenty years ago. A system that has been used very successfully ever since. We taught this technique to our anxiety patients with equally great success and have included it in the Anxiety Free system.
If you worry too much and find that it interferes with your life, you will find this extremely useful. All you have to do is to commit to using it. It only takes a few minutes to learn.
Disturbing Thoughts and Dreams
We all have the occasional disturbing thought. Who knows where they come from? Perhaps it is the imaginative and creative part of our mind exploring a few new options. What I am saying is that it is perfectly normal to have weird, shocking and even violent thoughts from time to time. For most people the thought just flashes up and is instantly dismissed as crazy or ridiculous. Having a thought like this is considered perfectly healthy in the psychiatric world as only a few seriously disturbed individuals would ever act on it.
So what happens when a disturbing thought starts to invade our minds a little more frequently. What if you have certain insecurities or an over enquiring mind so that thought gets dissected so to understand it more fully?
If a thought occurs to you and it worries you or you attach some significance to it that was never originally there, then the danger is that you will recall that thought over and over again to examine it and try to understand it more fully. The more you go over it, the bigger a problem it becomes. This is where certain obsessive thoughts and compulsions can begin to develop.
The more that you obsess about the thought then the stronger it becomes. A simple thought that should have been dismissed is accidentally given too much significance, grows stronger and becomes more frightening the more you question where it came from.
Your ever sharp, problem solving mind, wants, indeed, has to resolve it and feels compeled to do something. So you become locked in the conflicting situation. On one side you want to resolve it and on the other you don't know how to do it and the suggestions that come to you are completely out of character and often very disturbing.
Letting go of conflicting and ambiguous thoughts is a relatively straight forward hypnotic session. if any of this sounds familiar then you will probably want to listen to this session several times.
Discover how to remain calm and relaxed in very stressful situations - How to relax quickly and deeply with a variety of hypnotic and physical techniques.
How many people do you know who say "I am going to stop for half an hour and enjoy complete peace and calm."?
Probably not enough. It should be everyone. Perhaps modern society has lost that link with daily meditation and prayer.
Not knowing if you have any particular spiritual beliefs, we have provided a range of different relaxation techniques including a powerful hypnotic CD session. Those who have experienced a hypnotic trance for about an hour often compare it to a good nights' sleep. You will find it very invigorating
It is very easy, very enjoyable and the only down side is that is can be time consuming, but please find the time as it is the main stay of any deep anxiety treatment.
Stop being haunted by the past – come to terms with it and be at peace
if something bad has happened to you in the past –
Forgiveness is a hard word – If someone has done you harm, you may not feel very like forgiving them. But I would really encourage you to do so. It is not letting the other person off the hook who doesn’t deserve it, it is about taking back control and empowering yourself. They probably don’t even think about what they did, so you need to level the playing field and think the same. Forgiveness does this. It allows you to stop thinking about it.
Simple, Easy Changes To Your Daily Routine
This program uses many small changes that you can fit seemlessly and easily into your daily life. The more you stack all of these simple changes the more they build up day by day, week by week.
General Anxiety and Worry
You can keep yourself in a constant state of anxiety constantly going over the same same fears and worries. Learning to control your thoughts can prevent your mind endlessly going in circles. It really is very easy to do.
You can dismantle agoraphobia in the same way that it started; piece by piece. It is the combined effect of all the little changes that you make in the way you think and lead your life that will eliminate anxiety.
You stop panic attacks with simple changes to the way you deal with them when they happen. You stop social phobias by building up some very straightforward patterns of thinking.
Many sufferers of social phobia can point to something that made their condition worse, often family, parents, bullying, or an illness. You need to free yourself from any thoughts of blame or resentment that can keep you locked into the past. This program is about what to do now and most importantly it is about the future.

"Now it's been three months I will continue on with the program no matter what ... I wanted to relocate this fall but decided that my health would come first and now am willing to give that up for a while...I am so much better, happier than I ever remember being and for the most part drug free"

Depression?
Anyone living with anxiety long enough knows that you start to get depressed because it just seems to never end. Sure, some days are better than others, but there is that feeling that it is some downward spiral, with no way out. Then there are days where there is just some dark cloud hanging over you. Any improvement, however small brings hope. Depression will fade away as you introduce small, simple changes into your life and your hopes and expectations grow.
Obsessive Thoughts and Behavior
Have you ever been to a zoo and watched a tiger pacing relentlessly back and forwards? Obsessions grow out of frustration and despair. If you suffer from any type of anxiety then you are probably doing the same thing in your mind; continually going over and over the same thoughts and worries. If you are so caught up in the moment then you can begin to act these out and they can grow into uncontrolled movements, even whole rituals.
Over the years I have watched my friends do strange little movements in off guard moments. It seems that thoughts and fantasies leak out into some physical action in nearly everyone. All you are doing is magnifying a normal tendancy into something out of all proportion. You can learn to control your thoughts and then you will find that your body will follow.
If you wanted to build physical strength you would exercise your muscles. Trying to stop obsessive behavior with mental force only builds it up. Relaxing and letting your mind become calm, then learning to focus your thoughts will starve the roots of obsessive behavior.
In Some Cases Compulsive Thoughts
Everyone has some strange and bizarre thoughts from time to time, but mostly these thoughts are instantly dismissed. But imagine (perhaps you don’t have to) that a particular thought is so disturbing that you can’t help asking yourself where it came from, why did you have that thought. By the very act of worrying about it you pull that thought back into your mind over and over again.
The real danger is that you examine it, perhaps even horrify yourself and you start to think that there is something wrong with you. Of course there is NOTHING wrong with you. All you did was to be over sensitive and start of examining something too closely and then blaming yourself.
Some anxiety symptoms are born out of healthy ways of thinking and behaving that become magnified out of all proportion. It is time to shrink them down to the insignificant things they really are.
Don’t blame yourself. Don’t blame anyone. Just concentrate on getting well.
Get Organised and Get Things Done
There was a famous study into motivation and education, conducted nearly thirty years ago that is still being widely ignored by our educational systems.
A poor performing school in a deprived neighbourhood of New York was selected at random for a unique experiment. A group of teachers were taken aside at the beginning of the school year and told that because of their excellent teaching skills, they were to be given a specially selected group of the brightest students to teach that year.
Surely enough, at the end of the year, the students had excelled, not just compared to local schools but on a regional level too.
It was only at the end of the year that the teachers were called back and told that actually the students had been selected totally at random.. They replied that it must be that they were such good teachers, at which point they were told that they were selected at random too.
There has been no greater proof of the power of positive expectation, before or since.
You can use this too. It will help tremendously with your anxiety as we help you to build realistic but very positive expectations for your future.
Be able to socialise freely and not worrying about meeting people and what they might be thinking.
What has your anxiety cost you?
Relationships? Career? Missed opportunities? Time being anxious and depressed that could have been spent with friends and family?
How many hours of wasted time?
Now I'm not saying this to upset you. I want you to keep this in mind so you get a sense of how urgent it is that you do something. It is too easy to put things off, never take any action, just gather more and more information, study every little detail of your condition without doing anything about it.
In the end, desperation may drive you to try prescription drugs. You may already be dependent upon drugs. If not, please don't go there. There is one sure thing that any long term anxiety sufferer will tell you - "Drugs do not cure anxiety they just put the symptoms on hold for a while."
